Who is Social Ice?
Social Ice is a San Antonio rapper and songwriter who found his calling during quarantine. After watching Travis Scott command a crowd of over 80,000, something clicked. His track "Roll The Dice" crossed 100,000 streams.

The Interview
Q. How did you get into music?
I got into music during quarantine. I was watching videos of Travis Scott performing live and saw how the crowd of over 80,000 were moving to one singular person on stage. I thought to myself "I can do this too."
Q. What motivates you to make music?
The fact that people believe I can be great is what motivates me. The fact that they see something in me and it would be wrong if I didn't keep trying.
Q. What is your proudest musical achievement?
Hitting 100,000 streams on my song Roll The Dice.
Q. How do you deal with creativity or writer's block?
If I have writer's block, I never force a song. I never force mediocre lyrics. I do my best to take a break and let the influences come to me.
Q. What do you want to accomplish with your music?
I want to show everyone that nobody can define you. Nobody can tell you it's impossible or you will never be great. We are all limitless and we have what it takes to achieve our dreams.
Q. What can we look forward to from you?
In the future, you can look forward to seeing me being on a world tour. For this year, look forward to two projects — one tape, and the final piece to my three album trilogy.
