Who is Miles Per Hour?
Miles Per Hour is a versatile hip-hop artist based in San Antonio. Growing up playing drums in church and singing along to his parents' music, he eventually decided to create something of his own.

The Interview
Q. How did you get started in music?
I grew up playing the drums in church, and was just always singing to the music my parents would play.
Q. Who are your biggest musical influences?
Biggie Smalls, Drake, Dom Kennedy, and then pretty much all of the Texas/southern legends you can think of.
Q. What is your creative process like?
When I hear a beat, it has to just give me that feeling. Once I come up with a certain melody to compliment that beat, I find my topic and first couple of lines, then the rest of the song kind of flows naturally.
Q. How do you balance your personal life with your career?
It can definitely be difficult not only working a full time job that funds your music career, but also working as your own manager, social media manager, promoter, stylist, finance manager, sales rep, etc. But hey, it's part of the game I guess.
Q. What has been your proudest moment?
My birthday bash at the HUB! Either that or my first ever performance.
Q. What do you hope to achieve with your music?
I just want to make it to a certain level to where I can help scout other talent and influence their music careers. Ultimately, I want my love for music to change my family's life.
